5 Easy Ways To Raise Your Vibe Instantly
Have you ever felt “down” for no particular reason?
It happens to me too. I’m sure it happens to everyone from time to time.
And, yes, there are a lot of things going on in the world. And, yes, there are a lot of things going on in your personal life (mine, too).
But there are simple steps you can take to lessen all of the negativity you face every day.
Wouldn’t that be great?
Shall I show you now?
Reduce Exposure to Social Media
Believe it or not, I’m a fan of social media. I think it’s a great way to stay in touch with friends and it helps keep me aware of events going on the world.
The down-side of social media is sifting through all of the BS.
Sometimes I’ll find myself scrolling endlessly from one negative comment to the other. It’s like watching a train wreck, for some reason you can’t take your eyes off of it.
All of that negativity and BS will bring you down.
The way to get your power back, and the way to raise your vibration again, is to limit your exposure.
I check my social media three times a day… morning, noon, and before bed. I give myself permission to respond to things that require a response (however long it takes) and then I jump off. That’s it. No more.
Oddly enough, I’ve found time to be more productive.
You can, too.
Have you ever been in a rush at the grocery store?
You only need TWO things, then you can get the h#ll out of there!
The problem is, every check out line has 30 people in it. And their carts are full. But you’ve only got TWO things!
Suddenly, the person next in line says to you, “I see you’ve only got a couple of things. Would you like to get in front of me?”
How does that make you feel?
Being kind to others will raise your vibe. It can also make you happier, less stressed, and some say it can help you live longer.
It’s not a secret. You are bombarded with noise 24 hours a day.
The noise isn’t limited to sound. It can be negative images, negative people, negative conversations, anything that disrupts your peace.
Suzanne Clores says a few minutes of daily practice will help nurture your mind, body, and spirit. In other words, it’ll raise your vibe.
Clores recommends progressive muscle relaxation, belly breathing, and breath counting as ways to still your mind.
Here’s a little trick I use to create quiet.
Have you ever whispered to someone?
How do they respond?
They whisper back, right?
It’s a similar effect when you speak softly. You’ll discover that your friend’s volume will drop as well.
The next time you’re looking to create some quiet, bring your voice down a few decibels.
Bonus tip: If you want to take it up a notch, sit in silence in nature.
According to Life Hack there are several benefits of smiling:
- “Feel good” hormones are released.
- You feel happier and less stressed.
- “Stress” hormones are reduced.
- It’s good for your lungs.
- It’s a good way to release emotions.
- You’ll be more attractive.
There’s a story about a Buddha who traveled from village to village.
When he arrived, all of the villagers gathered around to tell the Buddha their problems.
Before anyone could speak, the Buddha began to laugh.
The villagers thought this was strange, but the Buddha kept on laughing and laughing.
Suddenly the villagers found themselves laughing and that made the Buddha laugh even harder.
This went on minute after minute. The entire village was in an ecstatic uproar. Everyone was smiling and everyone was laughing. It was infectious.
Then, when things calmed down, the Buddha left the village because he knew his work was done.
You get the idea … laugh more because it will raise your vibe.
